From my past struggles in math towards the earlier part of my life, I have changed my focus with tutoring and teaching to also help others and bridge the gap between a difficulty and mastering that struggle. I have also learned from my six years of teaching and tutoring that students learn in a variety of ways. I do believe that the key to success when teaching is to find a way to cater to the different learning styles of students. I have tutored many subjects including Grammar and Mechanics, Literature, Math, Life Sciences, and Writing, to name a few. I graduated with a degree in Educational Studies from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. From all of my teaching experiences, I found myself most passionate about tutoring math and reading, along with phonics. I suppose that my overcoming the math struggle drives me to show others how they too can overcome this. In my leisure time, I tend to be adventurous, participating in camping and football activities, in addition to reading and having family time.
