I attended the University of Georgia where I completed Bachelor of Science degrees in both Cellular Biology and Psychology, and I was the recipient of the Grace Thomas Award. I am now a PhD student in cellular biology and traumatic brain injury research assistant at the University of South Florida. I have extensive experience in laboratories with neuroscience, genetics, and biochemistry, in addition to cellular biology. When I teach students, I do my best to make each lesson fun, and I take the large concepts and break them down to teach them in small bites.
